Ok, the bird is finished. Gone. Fucking broken up. Why? Who knows. But the new record is fucking awesome. I've heard the recording already cause i am down. So do you wanna know about the bird? Well, maybe 3 years ago, or 2, Tom fuckin Rankine puts together a band with this fat guy who played drums, this guy Jose who is a cool as hell guy, and this Damian character who got kicked out later on. and don't know who else was in this band at that point. I do rememebr me making fun of that name though. i called it dark raven witching hour once or twice, ANYWAY! before the band picked up, there was some major regrouping. guitars were taken over by pete the fun loving greek and andrew hairy ass logan. bass of course was still tom. and lil' george on drums. BUT, Damian was out! and my man Shane was in. that guy is fucking insane! and sounds awesome as hell too. and after re-working some songs and writting one i think, they hit the studio and recorded 'self, dare you still breathe'. before that though, they went on tour with nothing but a two song demo. and some killer fanzines. when they got back they kicked out lil' george and brought in little george(jose i guess). after the CD came out, they planed another tour. and they almost didn't go. but the day was saved, and the tour was a disaster. they lost their drummer in canada and he's never come back to the U.S. they had alot of pictures though. so without a drummer, they sat around for almost a year. at this point shane was in ohio commiting suicide and planning geting married to a nice canadain girl he'd met. the bird was also planning plans and called up shane to come back down. he came down to record a new 7"/CD and get ready for a tour. they got middle george(neil i think) to play drums and they recorded. then they decided to quit. and that's that.
I think that's it. andrew and pete and shane and tom and neil(i think) will continue in music. and excel hopefully. anyway, buy their CD! and remember, never stand behind to a naked tom!
