4 radioactive signs

Oh shit, you need only look at that band name and that album title to know that we're talking Evilcore of the highest order here. Bird Of Ill Omen have crawled forth from the poisonous gene pool of Florida that has already spawned such delightful Hardcore sickness as Bloodlet, Morning Again, and Shai Halud. One can only assume it's the Death Metal inherent to the area bubbling up in new and different ways, 'cos this lengthly MCD is every bit as extreme as anything that scene can turn out. If anything, it's even more disturbing 'cos it sounds so insidious. Detuned guitars flail huge expansive chords to a slow, agonising death, cruelly broken on the rack of a spastic rhythm section, whilst the vocalist could very well be the black bird of their moniker personified, as he caws a bleak litany of doom. Phew, some Pop Punk now. Please. -Ian Glasper

Wow, this CD came from the depths of hell!! Sick, twisted metallic hardcore with guttaral, painful vocals. Heavy rhythms and turned down metal guitars that go from ultra fast to super-mega slow breakdowns. Fans of Deadguy and Overcast should definitely check this out.
